~ "...endless, passive waiting!!!"

Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful. (1 Cor 1-7-9)

I have mentioned before that if you pray for patience, you will be met with situations that require you to wait. So, here I sit! Waiting! I am waiting on the Lord to show me the next part of His plan for me.

Many of us struggle each day to hold onto the faith we have. We know we will never be perfect, but we can have perfect faith! Taking a deep breath, biting our tongue, and not over stepping our boundaries helps to keep our lives in check. Sometimes we need to walk away. Satan is what keeps drawing us back. He wants us under his thumb. He tempts and taunts.

No one knows the pain you carry in your heart except the Father. He has watched you breathe and grow all these years, waiting for you to come to Him and ask Him in. Through Jesus and the Holy Spirit, He makes His will known to you. Without the trinity, you have nothing but emptiness. Without His love, you have only sorrow ahead of you. How sad. People would rather enjoy a life filled with empty happpiness than an eternity of pure joy.

Sometimes the Lord moves you to place you in a better situation. Sometimes He moves you to be a blessing to others. Sometimes He moves you so that you can see the reality of a situation. Sometimes He moves you simply to see if you will follow. He waits patiently for you - now it's your turn to wait patiently for Him.

What may seem to take years to arrive, will change your life in the blink of an eye. The joys He has in store for you can manifest themselves in an instant. The result will be a greater blessing than you could have ever imagined. Your prayers will be answered and you will rejoice. You know what He doesn't want for you, so the time spent waiting should be time spent in prayer. Focus on His will for you, not what you want His will for you to be! Sometimes they are one in the same, but most often His blessing is greater than your desire!

Quiet your heart, your mind and your soul and wait. "Be still". "Know". "Rejoice!"
