~ "Rebel with a cause..."

Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the wounded crieth out: yet God layeth not folly to them.  They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof. (Job 24:12-13)

We live in a society where not all of the inhabitants fear God, nor to they love God, and in that they do not regard His law as anything other than dribble.  Those who state a belief in God often are not what they appear as evidenced by their continued denial of what He has already affixed His seal to (so to speak).

God will provide for His people.  He always has, He always will.  Sometimes, it does not seem like a terrible situation will even end, and when it does, the relief is sweet.  Throughout the battle, if we cling to what is holy, what is righteous, we can and will survive - coming from it stronger and deeper in love with our Heavenly Father.  It just takes faith.  The same faith that Job had.

What we have to remember first and foremost is that we are not being punished for anything we've done or failed to do.  When our faith is tested, we must look to the Lord to strengthen us, to carry us, to lead us!  He will, He promised.  When He awakens your soul to the music of His Kingdom, that noise can drown out any device that the enemy throws at you!  You just need to keep the focus on HIM!!!

Not all trials of this world are fair (you need only look at our court system to know that).  Our honesty and integrity are tested to the max!  Do we lie to get what we believe we deserve?  Do we steal from those we owe? Do we want what is ours and what is the other person's as well?  Some do; some don't...some try!

Our God is mightier than any lie!  He has shown us the greatness of His word and it is through that Word that we find our hope.  The hope in a future that has joy and laughter.  We do not get to take the easy road if we have chosen to walk with Him.  He makes many stops along the way.  It is through that walk with Christ (the one we have chosen) that others have the opportunity to see that He does not desert those whom He has called.  The outcome is always for His glory, so that others may see and bear witness to the same.

Do not be afraid of what lies ahead - you do not go there alone and when all is said and done, there will be a victory celebration to give testimony to the King of Kings!!!  Lift up your face and let His light shine on you!  He only wants the very best for you!
