The temple of God, a vessel, a place of dwelling - that is what we are. We carry the beacon of light for those who cannot see, a lighthouse illuminating the rocks of the shore. Our actions and our words are held to a higher standard, simply because we have been called.
So much focus has been placed on a "Christian" way of life. When one fails to portray the perceived view of a Christian, we all take the hit. We cannot individually change the views of others with regard to being a true believer in the word...only our actions and our testimony can speak for what we represent. A true Christian understands that persecution is one of the consequences that comes with professing our faith.
Be a true Christian all of the time, not just when it's convenient and not just when you are with a group of other Christians -- profess your faith all the time, in all situations. Allow the Spirit of God to not only dwell within you, but to shine constantly, even in the darkest moments!
