The tagline for "Jaws II" was "just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water...". Often life feels that way. Just when you think you have reached the end of the suffering, you find that once again, after only a brief rest, you are thrust back in the middle of that same struggle. Yes, the same enemy continues to prey.
Through all of life's troubles, we have one friend, one confidant, one love who is always standing right beside us, holding our hand, wiping our tears, healing our hurts...Jesus!!! He loves us so much that He went to the grave and conquered death by rising again! He is the foundation. He is whom we place our trust in. He is love! He knows our fears, He knows our weaknesses, He patiently waits for us to reach up. He is waiting for us to follow.
We are chosen...not because we deserve it, but because God wants us! It is our responsibility to share Him with the world.
One day, He will bring all of His faithful people together. We need not fear, because God is with us ("I am with thee"), He has established a relationship with us ("I am thy God"), and His assurance of strength, help and victory of sin and death is certain. When we are tempted to put our trust in something other than the living God - as yourself this question: Will it deliver? Will it unfailingly provide what I am looking for?
God has made a promise to us. He keeps His promises. He tells us "I AM!!!"
