There is a little bit of life left in all of us who feel we are at the end of the road. Sometimes we struggle for weeks on end looking for that light. Sometimes we cannot even find the tunnel. We often toss and turn thinking about what lies ahead of us tomorrow, losing precious hours of sleep over something we have no control over. Why? Because we are human.
Being an example to others often pushes you so far into the spotlight that you forget that you are in need of the same salvation you tell everyone else about. It sometimes causes you to become empty and barren within. You reach out and find no life line and you feel that all your hard work has been in vain. You feel like a hypocrite. Your thoughts race to things that are not of God and you wonder how you ever got this far from His grace.
Go back to the beginning. Start again. Don’t wait another moment and just dive in and be the example the Lord has created you to be. Lift your eyes toward the heavens, raise your hands in praise, pray! Read His word, study His message and share His love! You’ll be just fine! He will welcome you back as if there was never a separation. He loves you, that’s all you need to have - really!!!
