Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade—kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. (1 Peter 1:3-5)
AMEN! We've been born again! We've been given the inheritance of the King! It's waiting for us when we meet him face to face! And there's that word again ~ faith! Sometimes the road isn't what we want it to be, nor is it easy to travel. But God has a plan - one for each and every one of us! Our journey will end victoriously because Jesus has paved the way!
Sometimes the only thing I have to cling to is hope! Hope that tomorrow will be a better day, hope that God will enlighten me! It is so unclear sometimes where the Lord wants to use me. Finding his plan for me isn't always easy ~ probably because I'm not listening. But when I do, he leads me to a place of peace and grace and love and mercy - because I am his and to him all I have is gladly given. Even when I'm at the lowest and when I'm tired - I lift up my eyes and my voice to him!
