I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the LORD. (Ps 116:13)
In every moment of every day, there is an opportunity to come closer to the Lord of Heaven and Earth! With each breath we take, with each step we take, we come closer to meeting Him face to face. That day will come. It may be today, it may be tomorrow, it may be fifty years from now - but it will come! Are you prepared???
We'd all like to think that we are. So often what we've been taught is inaccurate. It's not what's expected of us. It's not the pathway to Heaven. We need to be sure we are on the right road. "But how will I know?" Quite simple: humble yourself before God and call on the name of Jesus!
Christ's death tore the curtain that separated us from God. His resurrection opened the gates of Heaven. We no longer hide in the shadow of man. We are part of His glorious triumph over death! We are His - we are who He died for! He has made straight the path on which we travel. He has given us eternal life with Him. One man, who came to earth with one purpose - to save us from sin and give us a glimpse into what the afterlife offers us. Jesus! Our saving grace!
Spend today in awe of the miraculous and astounding presence of the Lord! Offer Him the rest of your life through devotion to Him and the Word of God! Share His love with others! Open your heart to the fullness that can be attained simply by knowing Him! Come to Jesus...and live!!!
