Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. (Rev 1:3)
"Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their party" was the original typing phrase introduced by Charles E. Weller. It was later changed to "...aid of their country". It is considered "filler text". But if you read Revelation 1:3, you'll see that this sentiment is anything but filler text. It's a revelation - a dramatic disclosure!
The last chapter in God's book was written by John (the apostle). He describes in detail what will occur in the end times. The signs are all there and if you look around, you will see that they are, in fact, right in front of us! Our gracious creator has given us everything we need to sustain our lives on this earth. He has also told us everything we need to know to attain eternity. We are guaranteed this only through faith and the death and resurrection of Jesus!
The bottom line is, in the words of 1973 Mets relief pitcher, Tug McGraw ~ "You gotta believe!" Don't wait until tomorrow, or next week, or when you've finished this busy week's schedule! Accept Christ into your heart now! He's definitely in your corner! Are you in his???
