Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. (1 Peter 3:8-9)
We've all heard the ending of the fairy tale - "and they lived happily ever after". I do believe these two verses is where it got it's origin!
It's not easy to follow Jesus. The trick is to be willing to follow him! Sometimes I feel like I'm all alone in this world. So many times I've wanted to just throw in the towel and run in the opposite direction. Many times I did. If you've read my book, you will know that there were many times throughout my life that I felt that way.
Life is not perfect especially if you follow Christ! But the bottom line is that the grace of God will take you through whatever the world throws at you! And yes, sometimes you feel so alone in your walk. What helps get me through is know that in the end, I, too, will "live happily ever after"...
