~ "The ball's in your court..."

He who pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor. (Prov 21:21)

When we repent, we are seeking righteousness. As our days on earth dwindle (and they all do, to one extent or another), we become more focused on what it is that is important. Our priorities change with age. From childhood, to teenage years, to young adults, to mature adults, to prime-time and into our twilight years - we tend to let some things go and attach ourselves to newer, more important matters. There is a "like" on Facebook - "Remember when picking which color crayon was the biggest decision you had to make". As our lives progress, our decision and responsibilities become more complex. The one thing that remains unchanged throughout our lives is the love of Christ! His love never changes.

The decisions we make today reflect the choices we made yesterday. Our lives belong to him. What we do should glorify him. Our paths are intertwined with his mercy and grace and we should walk it with our heads held high, because we are forgiven! If you've accepted Christ as your Savior, then choose to follow! Don't just sit on the side lines and watch as others participate in life! There can be a full and enjoyable life led as a player on Christ's team! Get up, get out and get going! Time is of the essence here - you cannot afford to sit this quarter out! Seek out that which is good, be truly sorry for your sin, and the gifts of both heaven and earth will be yours!
