~ "Oops, I did it again..."

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. (2 Cor 12:9)

When that "still small voice" tells you to do something, and you argue with it, you are reminded very firmly, but lovingly, that he's in charge!

I've never been a quitter. I usually hang in there until there is nothing left to fight for. Frustrations allow me to take another path, try another solution or solve the problem. I've come to expect miracles from God. When they don't happen when I want them to, and when they aren't exactly what I asked for in prayer, I get mad and become the four-year old who's not going to talk to him. He just smiles and says "yes, you will".

Our God is very specific. He tells us exactly what he expects from us and what it is we are to do. He has the power to do all things, anything, no matter how "impossible" it may seem! In that knowledge is my faith! People will tell me "that's never going to happen", but my faith tells me it will!

Jesus told Paul that his grace was sufficient enough and that in his weakness it would be made perfect. Paul tells us to boast of our weaknesses with joy because it is then that God's grace will make us whole again! Our weaknesses, our human wants and desires, our attitudes, our insanity, our illnesses, but mostly our humility, make us the perfect receptacle for God's grace. His love makes us strong! Let him work a miracle in your life today!
