~ "Are you ready to go yet???"

The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. (Joel 2:31) (Acts 2:20)

What will we see when the Lord comes again? Depending on your beliefs and your perspective, some of us will see nothing! In Matthew 24:27 "For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man." Is that the "Rapture" we are told about? Will we be gone in the blink of an eye with a strike of lightening or will we be witnesses to the full glory of God? Will we watch in awe as the Son of Man descends upon the earth to reclaim what is rightfully his?

I don't really think it's going to matter. Once his eyes meet mine, I will be forever focused on him! The same holds true for our own physical death. We anticipate seeing our loved ones who have gone on before us. I believe that we will be so caught up by being in the presence of Jesus, that nothing else will matter - and if you think about it, who or what could possibly compare to that?

I anticipate that day, I live for that day, but I do not have any desire to bring it to fruition anything sooner than is his plan! I grieve when loved ones die, but I do not doubt that they are where I long to be! In the presence of God, with no distractions, no temptations, no pain, no torment, no regrets! When the King comes, will you be ready?
